Starting Point
Kassiopi Harbour
Located on the beautiful northeast coast of Corfu, beneath the island’s highest peak, Mount Pantokrator, Kassiopi is a picturesque harbour village full of charm and character. Once a small fishing village, it has become one of Corfu’s most popular seaside destinations while still preserving its traditional Greek atmosphere. The vibrant harbour is surrounded by waterfront cafés and authentic tavernas, making it the perfect place to relax before or after your boat trip. Overlooking the bay are the historic ruins of Kassiopi Castle, offering spectacular views across the coastline. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful pebble beaches and crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and unwinding. Whether you’re setting off to explore the hidden coves of the northeast coast or returning after a day on the water, Kassiopi Harbour is the perfect starting point for your adventure.
Sandy Shallow Bay
Kalamaki
Kalamaki is a magnificent stretch of beach fringed by tamarisk trees and old olive groves. Its sandy beach and wide, shallow bay make it an ideal place for families and younger swimmers. The calm water is perfect for a relaxed swimming stop, with several pleasant tavernas nearby for refreshments or lunch.
Peaceful Beach
Avlaki Beach
Avlaki is a wide, curving bay with a long white pebble beach and beautifully clear blue water. It remains quieter than many of the better-known beaches nearby, making it a relaxing place to swim, anchor and enjoy the scenery. A small selection of tavernas serves traditional Greek food close to the shore.
Fishing Village
Agios Stefanos
Agios Stefanos is one of the most attractive villages on Corfu’s north-east coast. The small fishing harbour has wonderful views across the sea towards Albania and retains a peaceful, traditional character. Along the waterfront you will find a selection of restaurants and tavernas, making it an excellent stop for lunch.
Swimming Stop
Kerasia
Surrounded by olive groves, pine trees and green hills, Kerasia is one of the loveliest swimming beaches on the north-east coast. The calm, clear water is relatively shallow near the shore. A traditional beachfront taverna and a small wooden pier complete the peaceful setting.
Scenic Harbour
Kouloura
Kouloura is a tiny and exceptionally picturesque fishing harbour framed by cypress and pine trees. The sheltered bay contains a few traditional houses, a fish taverna, the small chapel of Saint Nicholas and a quiet beach. Its curved harbour wall and natural setting make it one of the coast’s most memorable views.
Famous Corfu Bay
Kalami
Kalami is a beautiful horseshoe-shaped bay surrounded by wooded hills. It is well known for The White House, associated with the Durrell family. The village ha developed from a small fishing settlement into a popular resort while retaining its attractive waterfront and clear blue swimming water.
Waterfront Dining
Agni
Agni is a secluded bay at the foot of a steep, forested hillside. It is especially popular with boaters because its waterfront restaurants have private jetties where guests can arrive directly by sea. The beach is pebbled and the water becomes deep quite close to the shoreline.
Hidden Sea Caves
The Blue Caves
Hidden beneath the dramatic cliffs of north-east Corfu, the Blue Caves are among the coastline’s most spectacular natural landmarks. Accessible from the sea, the area is known for its crystal-clear turquoise water, striking rock formations and the beautiful light reflected across the water and surrounding cliffs.
